About the Event

Failure or Breakdown of plant & machine not only has a direct impact on plant performances but also contributes to the overall cost of the product & services. Failures are also major concerns for the environment and the safety of the people. Hence, achieving the highest level of plant & machine reliability shall be the focal point for all personnel.

In one hand, due to technological advancement, day by day, plant & equipment maintenance is becoming a highly specialized activity and on the other hand, ascending cost of failure has been becoming a challenge. A balance between these two contradicting factors calls for effective planning and scheduling. Proper planning prevents poor performance by reducing the cost of poor quality. Managing the reliability of the plant & machinery would be easy if we are able to plan a failure.

Where mantra is Cost Saving and Performance Improvement, it becomes the order of the day to make the machine failure more effective and efficient through proper planning, scheduling and adapting machine reliability techniques.
